A balanced electrolyte replacement syrup suitable for horses and ponies.
- Scientifically formulated electrolyte replacement
- Fast Acting Balanced formula to replace lost body salts
- Highly palatable
- Contains all 5 main electrolytes required by horses: Chloride + Sodium + Potassium + Calcium + Magnesium
Duralyte Syrup is a carefully balanced electrolyte syrup containing the exact ratio of electrolytes lost by a horse during heavy sweating. This combination of Chloride, Sodium and Potassium ratio of 2:2:1 rapidly replaces electrolytes in your horse and is vital for horses during hot weather, training or competition to support recovery and maintain optimum athletic performance.
The loss of electrolytes in breath, urine, faeces and sweat is a normal process, however during intense or prolonged training or competition this process is expeditated and horses may lose up to 10-15 litres per hour of sweat alone.
Duralyte is scientifically balanced, combining all 5 key electrolytes – Chloride, Sodium, Potassium, Calcium and Magnesium on a Sorbitol & Glucose base to ensure that it is highly palatable, and when offered along with plenty of fresh water, Duralyte will assist in restoring hydration and electrolyte balance quickly within the horse.
Always ensure plenty of fresh, tepid, water is also available when supplementing your horse with any form of electrolyte replacement.

This product is a Complementary Feed for horses containing a high concentration of Amino Acids, as well as the important antioxidant Vitamin E. The amino acids derive primarily from a pea protein isolated by selective precipitation. Amino acids are essential for the formation of muscles through protein synthesis, and supplementary feeding is particularly important to maintain and improve muscle mass during periods of intensive exercise or competition, during rehabilitation following injury, for underdeveloped horses, and during periods of pre-training or sales preparation. Vitamin E is a fat soluble antioxidant which protects muscle cells from the damaging effect of free radials.
